Privacy policy

JACHAI is a public beta that helps people pause before sending money. This policy explains what stays on your device and what may be visible to the hosting service.

What we process on your device

Text checks, rule matching, image validation and OCR run in your browser. Your message and screenshot are not uploaded to JACHAI, an AI provider or a reputation service. The app does not open links automatically.

What is not stored

• No account, message history or screenshot archive.
• No analytics profile or advertising identifier.
• Original messages, matched wording and contact details are excluded from result summaries.

Display preferences and reply tools

Larger text, higher contrast and reduced-motion preferences are saved only in this browser. If storage is blocked, they apply only during this visit. Example searches are not saved. Copying a reply writes the selected template to your clipboard; it does not send a message. Clear this site’s browser data to remove saved preferences.

Anonymous improvement signals

If you press a feedback button, JACHAI stores only a small status/count/timestamp record in this browser’s local storage. It does not include your message or evidence. A shared review queue is not active in this beta; a future backend would require a separate notice and consent.

Links and third parties

JACHAI’s local link screen only inspects the text of a URL. It does not call Google Safe Browsing or another live reputation API. External help links open only when you choose them and are governed by their own policies.

Hosting logs and your choices

The hosting provider may keep ordinary connection logs such as an IP address, time and requested path. Clear your text before leaving a shared device. You can clear locally saved feedback through your browser’s site-data controls.

Limits and contact

JACHAI is not a bank, police service, emergency service or fraud verdict. For urgent danger call 999. For account incidents use your provider’s official app or contact page.
